Abstract
Tikhon Alexander Pino build upon John Meyendorff’s reading of Gregory Palamas to examine a hesychast theology as a ‘theology of history.’ Specifically, Pino draws attention to the way that a theology of history underpins the uniquely Palamite connections between the incarnation, on the one hand, and more abstract metaphysical categories like grace, energeia, and pneumatology, on the other.
