2025 Conference

The New Ressourcement is pleased to announce its upcoming annual conference, to be held in Rochester, MN, from October 7–9, 2025. The theme of the conference is “Scripture and Its Interpretation.”

The Second Vatican Council declared, “The study of the sacred page is, as it were, the soul of sacred theology.” The 2025 conference of The New Ressourcement seeks to explore the application of this principle more broadly in Catholic thought in an interdisciplinary dialogue on the topic of Scripture, its interpretation, and its place in Catholic thought today.

If you are a biblical scholar, historical or systematic theologian, philosopher, literary scholar, or member of a related field, The New Ressourcement invites you to participate in the 2025 conference by applying and submitting an abstract below.

In addition to those presenting papers, we welcome applicants who wish to participate in the discussions and engage with the conference proceedings without delivering a paper.

All accepted applicants will receive lodging and meals for the duration of the event. The registration fee is $300 for those delivering a paper and $700 for non-presenting attendees.
